With Christopher width and depth in both sport psychology and his managerial baseball experience, he is available to guide all Pierrefonds coaches at any level on many aspects on the game of baseball. Christopher is available to all baseball coaches as a valuable resource to plan practices, drills to improve player’s performance and managerial tips on how to handle difficult situations, which may arise during the baseball season.
Christopher played in the Canadian Collegiate Baseball Association for John Abbott College and McGill University, where he was a part of the McGill National Championship team in 2010.
In 2013, He coached Bantam A for Pierrefonds and helped coach the team to the regional finals and won the Pierrefonds Coaching Staff of the Year. He then coached Junior AA for Lac St. Louis, in which he won the Lac St. Louis Coach of the Year for a major team.
In 2016, Christopher then coached Bantam AA for Lac St. Louis and thoroughly enjoyed teaching and developing his athletes. Christopher’s is an accredited level 3 umpire for Lac St.Louis, a provincially certified coach and a certified developer for coaches.
Christopher’s strength in coaching and playing is his attentiveness to detail, desire for perfection and knowledge of the game. He brings passion, enjoyment and fun every time he steps on the field.
It was his interest in human behavior, development, teaching and learning that guided him towards that field of study. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Physical Education and completing his thesis in sport psychology, which examines the effects of coaching leadership on athletic performance and wishes to pursue a PhD in Psychology or Education and to apply his knowledge as an athlete and coach developer in sport.
